DP2: Audio/Video FPGA development board

DP2 is an FPGA development board aimed particularly for cost sensitive audio and video applications, for example in security or consumer electronics. The heart of the board is an Altera EP2C8 FPGA which provides the perfect balance between sufficient resources, (for example two independent PT3 video decoders can fit in one device), and low cost to enable applications in the most cost sensitive applications. All of Singmai's IP cores will run on this platform. The board may be purchased separately or at a special price, bundled with the DP1.

DP1: Audio/Video ADC/DAC interface for FPGAs

DP1 is a SD and HD video ADC/DAC and audio codec that plugs directly into the Santa Cruz connectors of the Altera development boards for their Cyclone I (now obsolete) and Cyclone II FPGAs, as well as our own low cost DP2 development board. The board accepts composite, B/W, RGB and YPbPr video at either SD or HD resolution, and stereo analogue audio which it digitises for the FPGA. Outputs are stereo audio and composite, RGB or YPbPr video, again at SD or HD resolution. DP3: FIFO memory card

DP3 is an expansion card for the DP2 development board. It offers two programmable delay taps that can be utilised for video field/frame delays - e.g. for 3D comb filters or 3D noise reducers - or for audio delays - e.g for lip-sync delays. The board is supplied with example FPGA code (VHDL).
