DP5-A: An Altera FPGA development board for SD and HD video applications with integrated PT13 compact microprocessor IP core

The DP5-A board provide a range of user controls including a digital rotary encoder, 2x8 LCD character display with backlight, 5 pushbuttons and an IR remote control receiver.
The board also offers 3 expansion ports for add-on boards. The SingMai expansion ports offer a cost-effective interface that can support all SD and HD video clock rates. The three slots offer:
- Expansion Connector 1: 9VDC, 5VDC, 3.3VDC, 39 3V3 input/output connections, 1 clock in (single ended or LVDS), 1 clock out (single ended or pseudo-differential).
- Expansion Connector 2: 9VDC, 5VDC, 3.3VDC, 39 3V3 input/output connections, 1 clock in (single ended or LVDS), 1 clock out (single ended or pseudo-differential).
- Expansion Connector 3: 5VDC, 3.3VDC, 1.2VDC, 31 3V3 input/output connections.
The DP5-A is bundled with our PT13 compact microprocessor IP core which is used for the control of all the user control peripherals and the serial control of the devices on the add-on boards.
