PT15 is a RGB to YCbCr Colour Space Converter

PT15 is a RGB to YCbCr colour space converter that also includes decimating filters to produce a 4:2:2 sampled output. It seamlessly interfaces to the PT8 and PT9 video encoder allowing them to then accept RGB inputs in addition to YCbCr inputs.

• 3x3 matrix RGB to YCbCr colour space converter.
• Bypassable 2:1 decimating filters for Cb and Cr.
• 10 bit data paths, 13 bit coefficients.
• Seamlessly interfaces with PT8 and PT9 video encoder.
• Control and status registers are written to and read from using a conventional 8 bit wide microprocessor interface.

PT15 is supplied either as an encrypted 'black-box' file with a fixed 1 year renewable unlimited use license, (Altera only) or as RTL compliant Verilog source code for unlimited time, unlimited use, (all vendors and ASIC/IC).

PT15 is supplied with 6 months telephone/e-mail support, a 3 year update and bug fix guarantee and technical user manual.
