The latest issue of our newsletter is available here. Design and Re-use announce the release of our PT12 video/image noise reducer. SingMai Electronics are pleased to announce the release of their new PT12 video/image noise reducer with motion adaptation for both SD and HD applications. This compact IP core is perfect as a pre-processor for video compression where noise uses valuable bandwidth or for large screen displays where noise adversely affects the performance of de-interlacers and scalers. The IP core is also applicable for other imaging applications such as scientific and industrial imaging. More details are available here. Our new product brochure may be found here. You may have read about the recent flooding in Thailand, the worst for 50 years. SingMai did what it could by providing food for some of the flood victims and will be continuing this initiative on a regular basis to the poorer members of our local community. SingMai has just completed a relocation to Saraburi in Thailand. As well as bringing us closer to our Asian customers this also gives us new manufacturing capability which we will be using to introduce a range of standalone products, starting with a standard definition video pattern generator. FPGA_central announce the release of our DP4 Xilinx FPGA development board. (FPGA Central, 29th December 2008) SingMai have become members of Xilinx's SignOnce Program SingMai Electronics has introduced PT13, a very compact embedded microprocessor IP core for FPGAs using internal FPGA memory. (EDN, 30th September 2008) We have written an article for the EDN magazine, 'Using FPGAs in Consumer Electronics'. You can read that article here. 4th September 2008 We exhibited at the ISCE (International Symposium on Consumer Electronics), conference in the Algarve, Portugal, on 14th-16th April 2008.
